The Office of Federal Relations serves as the primary liaison with the Administration, Congress, federal agencies and the many higher education associations and coalitions headquartered in Washington, D.C. Its staff advocates for the University of Tennessee’s mission in education, research and service, and on behalf of the University’s interests in legislative and regulatory matters. The staff directly serves UT administration, faculty, staff and students to help enable high-quality educational opportunities for the benefit of our students and the state of Tennessee.
